When using custom post types in wordpress, I did some research and found some permission levels. These things are not exclusively explained in Wordpress documentation (http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_type ).

For example, I am adding a custom post type called book, then I would add following code to my plugin:

Notice the argument capability_type, which is optional in register post type. However, if we do not add this argument, the new book section will be registered with permissions as that of posts.

Now, in our case, the books sections is registered as a new entity, having its own permission set. We need to assign some new permissions to any user to access this entity (to an administrator also!)

In our case, the permissions that need to be assigned are mentioned below:

delete_book

edit_others_posts
read_private_books

We can use some sort of plugins or use wp_capability variable to assign these permissions. I used capsman plugin for the same. Have a look at the screenshot:

Zero-Knowledge proofs are fascinating and extremely useful constructs. Their fascinating nature is due to their seemingly contradictory definition; zero-knowledge proofs are both convincing and yet yield nothing beyond the validity of the assertion being proven. Their applicability in the domain of cryptography is vast; they are typically used to force malicious parties to behave according to a predetermined protocol. In addition to their direct applicability in Cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs serve as a good bench-mark for the study of various problems regarding cryptographic protocols (e.g., ``secure composion of protocols'' and the ``use of of the adversary's program within the proof of security'').

In this tutorial we will present the basic definitions and results regarding zero-knowledge as well as some recent developments regarding this notion.

The Basics

Loosely speaking, zero-knowledge proofs are proofs that yield nothing beyond the validity of the assertion. That is, a verifier obtaining such a proof only gains conviction in the validity of the assertion. This is formulated by saying that anything that is feasibly computable from a zero-knowledge proof is also feasibly computable from the (valid) assertion itself (by a so-called simulator). Variants on the basic definition include:

Consideration of auxiliary inputs.

Universal and black-box simulations.

Restricting attention to honest verifiers.

The level of similarity required of the simulation.

It is well-known that zero-knowledge proofs exist for any NP-set, provided that one-way functions exist. This result is a powerful tool in the design of cryptographic protocols, because it enables to force parties to behave according to a predetermined protocol (i.e., the protocol requires parties to provide zero-knowledge proofs of the correctness of their secret-based actions, without revealing these secrets).

Advanced Topics

We focus on two basic problems regarding zero-knowledge, which actually arise also with respect to the security of other cryptographic primitives. The first question refers to the preservation of security (i.e., zero-knowledge in our case) under various types of composition operations. We survey the known results regarding sequential, parallel and concurrent execution of (arbitrary and/or specific) zero-knowledge protocols. The main facts are:

Zero-knowledge (w.r.t auxiliary inputs) is closed under sequential composition.

In general, zero-knowledge is not closed under parallel composition. Yet, some zero-knowledge proofs (for NP) preserve their security when many copies are executed in parallel. Furthermore, some of these protocol use a constant number of rounds.

Some zero-knowledge proofs (for NP) preserve their security when many copies are executed concurrently, but such a result is not known for constant-round protocols.

The second basic question regarding zero-knowledge refers to the usage of the adversary's program within the proof of security (i.e., demonstration of the zero-knowledge property). For 15 years, all known proofs of security used the adversary's program as a black-box (i.e., a universal simulator was presented using the adversary's program as an oracle). Furthermore, it was believed that there is no advantage in having access to the code of the adversary's program. Consequently it was conjectured that negative results regarding black-box simulation represent an inherent limitation of zero-knowledge. This belief has been refuted recently by a zero-knowledge argument (for NP) that has important properties that are unachievable by black-box simulation.

Dr. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, an alumni of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, received Nobel prize in Chemistry for year 2009 for studies of the structure and function of the ribosome.

Early life
Venkatraman Ramakrishnan was born in Chidambaram in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, India.

He moved to Baroda (Vadodara) in Gujarat state at the age of three, where he had his schooling, except for spending 1960–61 in Adelaide, Australia. Following his Pre-Science at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, he did his undergraduate studies in the same university on a National Science Talent Scholarship, graduating with a B.Sc. in Physics in 1971.

In a January 2010 lecture at the Indian Institute of Science, he revealed that he failed to get a seat at any of the colleges of the Indian Institutes of Technology, and Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamilnadu.

Immediately after graduation he moved to the U.S.A., where he obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Ohio University in 1976.^[5][6] He then spent two years studying biology as a graduate student at the University of California, San Diego while making a transition from theoretical physics to biology.

२२ सप्टेंबेर, २००९ ला आम्ही (मी, मयूर आणि रतिका) नोकरी सोडून स्वतः ची कंपनी सुरू केली. त्या गोष्टीला तीन महिने झाले, पण अजुन म्हणावे ताशे यश आले नाही. अजुन काही प्रॉजेक्ट्स चे पेमेंट पेंडिंग आहे, तर काही कॅन्सल झालेत. पण, ठीक आहे, आम्हाला ह्या सगळ्याची अपेक्षा होतोच. :)

जुनी नोकरी सोडताना जरा पण वाईट नाही वाटले. त्या जॉब मधे इंट्रेस्ट तर होता, पण बॉस ची दाद्ागिरी ( हो, चक्क दाद्ागिरी) सहन होत नव्हती. आणि त्यात मी थोडा गरम स्वभावाचा. त्यामुळे तर खूप लवकर निर्णय घेण्याची सवय लागली. काळ मयूर (माझा पार्ट्नर) बोलत होता, की हे सगळे सोडून परत जॉब करायचा विचार येतोय. पण लगेच रिकवर झालो.

Bombardier setting up coach factory in Vadodara

New Delhi: Bombardier Transportation will set up a facility for manufacturing and assembling of coaches for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The company has acquired over 1.40 lakh square feet of area near Savli in South Gujarat. The company would invest upwards of €25 million for the facility. About 500-550 workers would be hired for the factory, comprising about 450 blue-collar workers and 100 supervisors and engineers. Bombardier chose Vadodara for various reasons like the factory being located near a rail-link and several supporting companies’ presence in the region.

According to sources, DMRC has paid Rs 2,500 crore ($590-million) to Bombardier for the deal, under which the coaches would be delivered between November 2008 and March 2009.

Bombardier will manufacture coach shells and bogies in the new factory and expand its existing factory (which manufactures converters for Indian Railways’ locomotives) to make propulsion equipment for metro coaches. The coaches will have stainless steel bodies, with state of the art propulsion system. The cost of each coach would be around Rs 7.35 crore. Initially the trains would be manufactured in company's units in Germany and Sweden and later would be manufactured in the Hyderabad unit.

Bombardier has an engineering facility in Hyderabad and a converter (for locomotives of Indian Railways) manufacturing facility in Vadodara. Last Updated ( Saturday, 06 June 2009 )

After eminent personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Mukesh Ambani, Sunita Williams and Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor becomes the latest recipient of the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Award.

The 28-year-old is going to be presented with the 12th Rajiv Gandhi Award in the best actor category. The award function will be held in the second week of August.

"I was pleasantly surprised to get the news about my being chosen for the prestigious award. I am only 28 years old and it's really early in my career. I feel humbled and honoured to be chosen by the jury," said Shahid.

This year, Shahid will be seen in three films -- Vishal Bharadwaj's "Kaminey" opposite Priyanka Chopra, Aditya Chopra's "Dil Bole Hadippa" opposite Rani Mukherjee and a Ken Ghosh movie opposite Genelia D'Souza.

Their body language confirms that they are more than just friends, as is usually claimed by the stars whenever they want to hide their romantic relationships.

Anushka Sharma is playing lead in this Yashraj’s latest flick and Shahid Kapur plays her love interest. It was during shooting romantic sequences that they are said to have come close to each other.

Anushka Sharma, who was a model before being introduced into bollywood by Aditya Chopra in his film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ opposite King Khan, is doing her second film with the premier production house. Amrita Rao’s male fans have been left stumped by her new avatar. In her latest public appearances, she has appeared more stylish than ever before. When she stepped out to vote in Mumbai, for example, looking svelte in red cargo pants and a cropped jacket, she took everyone by surprise.
But the actress says that it is not an image makeover but simply a phase. “I’m constantly evolving. I can just say that I’m attuning myself to contemporary fashion, moulding myself to opportunities.”
Her fans are definitely not complaining and indeed, the list of her admirers is actually growing. “Oh yes! I keep a track of all that my fans say about me online. There is one site where a fan from London called Noni uploads everything I say within 5 minutes of my making a appearance. I don’t know how,” she says. Recalling the best thing a fan ever did for her, she says, “Once a fan did something really sweet for me. He came all the way from Nasik and literally lived outside my house from morning to night. When the security guard and my driver told me about this, I invited him to Film City and he was so happy.” In the Capital to launch the Vaseline Healthy White lotion, she says that her grandparents often get worried by reports of her link-ups in the papers. “They always ask me if there is any truth in the reports and I convince them there isn’t. Maybe it is the price I pay for being single,” says the actress who has been linked to Shahid Kapur, Hurman Baweja and Nikhil Dwivedi. “There is a time for every thing, I would rather let the mystery unfold. Love is unplanned,” she says. The producer-multiplex row has stalled the release of her film Shortcut, in which she stars opposite Akshaye Khanna and Arshad Warsi. But the actress prefers to see the positive side of the situation. “By the time the film releases, people would be so parched for entertainment they’ll all rush to theatres...so I am not worried.”

Cricketers Aakaash Chopra and Murli Kartik strutted out in golden coloured cricket helmets while Bollywood stars Amrita Rao and Sophie Chowdhury cheered from the front row.

The show, designed to pay tribute to the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders' kicked off with the team's anthem "Korbo Ladbo Jeetbo Re." Malhotra, the official designer of the team and a close friend of the team's owner actor Shahrukh Khan showcased ensembles in the Knight Riders' official colours of black and gold.

"It was extremely sweet of Aakaash and Murli to model for me, and I thank them for that. I am also designing for both Amrita and Sophie in upcoming films and the idea of the entire collection and the show was to have fun," said Malhotra.

The designer known for transforming starlets like Urmila Matondkar and Karishma Kapoor into screen godesses, is now giving Amrita Rao a makeover in the film "Shortcut." "I am very excited for the film as it presents me in a completely new way," said Rao, while Malhotra quipped in saying, "She will blow your minds away,I saw the first rushes, and she is looking hot and some of the credit goes to me." MUMBIA: While some girls in the industry believe in unabashedly promoting their boyfriends (like Konkana Sen does with Ranvir), some others do it stealthily – shy and low profile Amrita Rao is one of those. Buzz is that Amrita, has finally, found a boyfriend in her My Name is Anthony Gonsalves co-star, Nikhil Dwivedi and has been silently promoting him to producers who approach her with work. Recently, Jag Mundhra approached Amrita with an offer to play the lead in one of his films. Amrita apparently asked the director to cast Nikhil opposite her and when he didn’t Amrita found a number of reasons to refuse the film. As expected Amrita denied the news, “I don’t have the power to ask directors to cast a particular actor. Why would I do that?” She also specified that Nikhil and she were just “good friends”. However, Mundhra had an entirely different story to narrate, “Amrita didn’t ask me directly to cast Nikhil in the film. Her secretary suggested Nikhil’s name to me and told me that Nikhil was a great actor and would do justice to the role but I felt otherwise so I didn’t even approach him.” Mundhra isn’t the only director whom Amrita tried to influence. Yet another filmmaker on condition of anonymity reveals, “When I offered Amrita my film she was keen on doing it. She then asked me to contact her secretary who told me to consider casting Nikhil opposite her but since I had already signed an actor I refused. A few days later they informed me that Amrita wasn’t interested in doing my film.” Apparently Amrita’s mother isn’t too happy with her daughter’s sudden interest in Nikhil. A source close to the Rao family reveals, “Amrita and Nikhil are keeping their relationship low profile because Amrita’s parents aren’t happy about it. They want Amrita to focus on her career and not on Nikhil’s career. Until very recently Amrita’s mum used to screen her calls and interviews. It was only recently that Amrita has become so independent and bold. May be this change has come about because she is in love...but if she continues to refuse films because of Nikhil she may end up with no career!”

Victory may well be revolving around the character of Harman Baweja but Amrita Rao still has great memories of shooting for the film, in particular the parts that were shot on outdoor locations in Rajasthan. After spending quite some time in Jaisalmer, she not just fell in love with the desert dunes but also the traditions, culture and music belonging to this part of the country.

”First schedule of the film took place in Rajasthan and it was particularly exciting for me because for the first time ever I was visiting Jaisalmer. I was fascinated with the sheer visual of so much of sand around. Then suddenly I saw people dressed in bright colours which was really contrasting with the background of the place. All the orange and pink colours turned the place into such a delightful watch”, says Amrita Rao fondly.

She was also particularly impressed by the traditional music that was being played around the shooting locations. ”We were shooting at this small temple and it was interesting to see the locals playing a small instrument that seemed to be a ‘taanpoora’. Then there was this old man who was wearing a turban and singing some songs that seem to have inspired quite a few Bollywood tracks that I have heard over the years”, says Amrita who herself is quite fond of classical music.

”That’s right, I love classical music and it was irresistible for me not to return back to this old man in between my shots. I spent some real good time in just listening to what he was playing”, smiles Amrita, ”What helped me further was the fact that all the lighter scenes from the film were chosen to be shot in dunes; hence it wasn’t difficult interacting with the locales.”

Adding fuel to rumours of an affair with Amrita Rao, actor Harman Baweja played the perfect escort to his "Victory" co-star at a promotional event.

"Where's Amrita? I need to escort her; otherwise she will get crammed with people," Harman told officials at the event.

The actors were at a jewellery showroom and fans were eagerly waiting for them outside the shop to get autographs. It was then that Harman caught hold of Amrita's hand and led her away from the crowd.

Now she's getting ready for the big one-Chadraprakash Dwivedi's upcoming period film 'The Legend Of Kunala'.

In October it was reported that Jaya Bachchan was impressed by Amrita's docile image and recommended her name.

The film will be produced by the revived production company Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL) which after major losses many years ago wants to start the year with a blockbuster.

Amitabh Bachchan is set to play the role of Emperor Ashoka. Arjun Rampal will in all probability play the role of King Kunala. And Tabu will be seen as the Emperor's wife.

It was reported that Tabu's character is very strong and suffers from sexual deprivation. And there's a lot of sexual tension between her and her step son Kunala.

That way Amrita's role of princess Kanchanmala, the wife of Kunala is very important. According to Dwivedi, he wanted an actress who could stand up to Tabu and Amrita being a good actress fitted the bill perfectly.

As the story centers on Arjun Rampal's character, Amrita who will play his wife is expected to have a good share of screen time. It's rare for actresses to grab a good role in a period film which has a bunch of acclaimed actors. This seems like a unique opportunity for Amrita.

The actress thinks that the role of a pure and calm girl will prove to be a turning point in her career. She seems to be fully confident about the film doing well and the high hopes seem natural.

Amrita is preparing for the role and is going through ancient history books about the rule of Emperor Ashoka and the life at that time.

Fresh from the success of her Telugu film Athidhi , Amrita Rao is back to Bollywood with her next film My Name is Anthony Gonsalves . She has some more exciting projects lined up. The charming actress speaks about upcoming films and also clears controversies surrounding her.

How does it feel after delivering a superhit Telugu cinema down south?
Athidhi was my first dabble with Tollywood. I was offered many roles in the south and everyone used to tell me why I don’t try my hands on it. Athidhi came after Vivah . I got the offer from Padmalaya which is a big name in the south. Also Mahesh Babu, who is my co-star in the film, is a superstar there. A lot of things worked for me. The film is a love story and I had a lot of fun shooting for it. On the very day the film released it made a business of Rs 6 crores. Thankfully I was there in Hyderabad shooting for Shyam Benegal’s film. I felt so proud at that moment.

The media involved you in the Shahid –Kareena spilt. Did it strain your relationship with Shahid?
Not at all! The media has been very supportive and positive towards me. But there are certain elements or pages which are designed for gossip which cause trouble. But I guess it’s their job. You end up reading stuff about yourself which is sometimes news to you.

So are you open to doing more films with Shahid?
Absolutely, I will do more films with Shahid

Your next film My Name is Anthony Gonsalves sees you playing the role of an assistant director. Would we ever see you actually directing a film?
That would be quite a jump for me.

Why do you think the film was titled My Name is Anthony Gonsalves ?
Nowadays to find an original name is a creative effort. I think the title is fantastic and fits in with the story line. It is a title which one instantly likes. And I guess also because the protagonist in the film called Anthony is a struggling actor and he wants people to look at him.

What is your character in the film like?
You cannot be an actor without giving an audition. And I, being the assistant director in the film, am the one who explains the audition to aspiring actors. I play a Catholic girl called Rhea in the film.

Could you relate to your character?
I was very familiar with this role from day one. It took me back to my early days when I had to interact with a lot of assistant directors. Farah Khan had taken my audition for the film Main Hoon Na . For some reason she walked in late for the audition and her assistant director explained everything to me so well that I did the audition in one take.

How was it working with others?
We had a great actor like Mithun on the sets. I loved him in Guru . I think we need actors with experience like him. I have worked with Lillete Dubey before, she reminds me of Farah Khan. Anupam Kher and Pawan Malhotra are great actors. Nikhil is extremely confident. Confidence is his second name. I thought I would have to make him comfortable as it’s his first film, but I didn’t have to. Anupamji and I have worked together in Vivah . We share a great bond. He is the favourite amongst unit members.

You missed working with Shah Rukh in OSO .
Yes indeed. When Farah had asked me to do a cameo in Om Shanti Om I was shooting in Austria for my Telugu film. Then Farah asked me to do a cameo in the Filmfare Awards scene in the film for the ‘Main Bhi Hoon Naa’ segment but unfortunately then too I was shooting in Thailand. Farah did not have much time and had to wrap up soon.

But with My Name is Anthony Gonsalves , I got to work with him again. Though this time as a producer (Red Chillies).

Much has been spoken about your item number in MNIAG.
There is a misunderstanding here. There is an item number in the film but that’s done by Hrishita Bhatt. I just have a dance number. The song is the only romantic song in the entire film. It has been shot in Goa and is choreographed by Bosco and Ceaser. They have given the song a new look and have given us scope to experiment. It’s a groovy number where you can throw loads of attitude to the camera.

You mean to say all the reports on you attempting to change the girl-next-door image from Vivah were false
I haven’t tried to defy any image, especially the one in Vivah . My image in Vivah has helped me find a place amongst the masses which I don’t want to destroy. I believe I have always had distinct looks in my films. May it be Vivah or Main Hoon Na or even Masti . I have always managed to surprise the audience. In My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves I play an assistant director, it’s a complete non glamorous role as they don’t have the time to dress up. The romantic song is a dream sequence and is one of my best romantic songs ever.

How did a Shyam Benegal film fall into your scheme of things?
It’s a film called Typist Mahadev . It’s a satirical comedy. Everyone has a preconceived notion about Shyam Benegal which is about to change. This time around his film is going to be a commercial one with a great story line. One day I got a call from Shyam Benegal’s office and I was told that Shyam Benegal wants to meet me. Shyam Benegal has been the topper in my wish list of the directors I want to work with. I did not even ask what the film or my role is about. I just said I am on!

The film stars Shreyas Talpade. I have become a big fan of his after working with him. There are also many theatre actors in the film like Yashpal Sharma, Ila Arun, Divya Dutta and many more.

There were reports that the role offered to you in Anil Kapoor’s Shortcut was earlier offered to Lara Dutta but she refused because she did not want to be paired opposite Arshad Warsi. Do you have any such reservations?
I am not aware as Arshad Warsi doesn’t have a heroine in the film. This offer came to me before Vivah and I took it up.

What is the film about?
Shortcut is a thriller. You do have comedy because of Arshad. There is also Akshaye Khanna in the film. Both Akshaye and Arshad have evolved as such fine actors.

Why was the original director of the film changed from Roshan Andrews to Neeraj Vora?
I am not aware of this because when I was roped in for the film they did not have a director.

Have you seen the original Tamil film ‘Udayananu Tharam’ from which Shortcut is being remade?
I haven’t seen the Tamil version but there is a new look to this film. The Tamil version is quite old and people’s sensibilities have changed now.

Is David Dhawan’s ‘Hook Ya Crook’ happening anytime soon? Or is the project shelved?
I had signed this film before Vivah . It’s a UTV film and they are still gathering the required set up for the film. Sometimes there are factors due to which a film gets delayed.

Also you have signed Victory opposite Harman Baweja.
Yes, I am quite excited for the film. The buzz about Harman is that he is not only a good actor with good looks but also a great dancer. So I am looking forward to work with him. The film is going to be a thriller.

Finally a lot has been spoken about you not doing the Yash Raj Film. Would you like to clarify the issue? Did you have any reservations doing a kissing scene?
Actually it’s all wrong the way it has been portrayed. What happened was that I could not relate to the character which was being offered to me. I met Adi and told him that I won’t be able to do justice to the film as I can’t relate to the character. Adi was very understanding and knew what I was trying to say. He even said that next time we will definitely work together. There were no ego hassles there.

So will you ever do a kissing scene if the script demands it?
Not if they script demands. The day I feel comfortable I will do it. I have always done everything according to my comfort level.

Victory starring Hurman S Baweja and Amrita Rao is yet another attempt by the model-turned-actress to establish herself in Bollywood. UTV Movies to premiere Benegal's Welcome To Sajjanpur

MUMBAI: UTV Movies will be premiering Welcome to Sajjanpur on 1 February at 8 pm. The movie released in September 2008 and is premiering within five months of its theatrical release.

Amrita Rao: Demure or hot on demand!

October 04, 2008, (Sawf News) - Amrita Rao probably believes that talent, and not marketing, sells, and her folly ensured that we got to see her delightful comedy film Welcome To Sajjanpurwith the hall almost to ourselves, just a week after the film's release!

Not just Amrita Rao, the other talent packed into the film - Shyam Benegal, Shreyas Talpade, Ila Arun and Ravi Kishan - probably have the same mindset, a pity!

Welcome To Sajjanpur is probably the most undersold recent film. It is estimated to have been made at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore, and marketed with a budget of Rs 4 crore, though how the marketing funds were spent is a mystery to us. Probably to entertain the leading print media in five stare hotels!

Not that it did any good, because the leading print media chose to focus more on M F Husain's praise of Amrita's performance in the film, rather than appreciate her portrayal of Kamla on their own.

The film is claimed to have grossed Rs 6.5 crore in its first week, a figure we are inclined to take with the proverbial pinch of salt, going by the empty hall that we encountered in the NCR multiplex.

Anyway, back to Amrita Rao, the lass who appears to be completely focused on building an impressive body of work, rather than promoting herself as the best under 30 actress in Bollywood today, which she is, with due apologies to the almost equally talented Kapoor motor mouth Kareena!

Incidentally, Kareena is giving her motor mouth a rest and instead using her brought back from oblivion elder sister Karisma Kapoor to promote herself, and her equally brash journo bashing beau Saif Ali Khan, maybe because she is finding it a challenge to impress Aamir Khan on the set of 3 Idiots.

Amrita's performance in her past two films, Shaurya and Welcome to Sajjanpur, was impressive not just because of the confidence with which she faces the camera but also the carefully measured tones with which she delivers her dialogs. It is hard to think of any other actress who can match the restrain and measure with which Amrita speaks on screen.

Amrita, 27, packs more than just good looks and superb histrionic abilities. She has one of the finest sense of style and sartorial taste in Bollywood today.

Unlike past Benegal leading ladies, like Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil, Amrita can straddle commercial and art of cinema with greater ease because of her higher glamour coefficient, but it remains to be seen if she can emulate Rekha, the only Benegal favorite who rose to the top in Bollywood.

We are just happy that Benegal is considering Amrita for more films.

Amrita's upcoming films include

Ajit Pal's Victory, in which she plays a small town girl from Jaisalmer who is a medical student with a modern mindset. She co-stars in the film with Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover and Harman Baweja.

Neeraj Vora's Shortkut in which she plays a completely glamorous girl and co-stars with Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt and Simi Grewal.

She paired her spaghetti strap criss-crossed front dress with black peep toe heels. Sans jewelry and with light makeup, she let her beautiful skin be the focus. Her two toned dark straight hair with light brown ends were styled to frame her face.

The Chhote Miyan participants were at their usual joyful best in the company of the talented and beautiful actress.

'Victory' becomes the buzz word on the set, taking from which Mansirat and Mohit put up a terrific performance and were rewarded with a goody bag by the judges, who too warmed up to the concept of victory and decided not to mark anyone stringently.

Amrita Rao Turns Alien

The sultry lass that Amrita Rao will soon be seen essaying a supernatural role in filmmaker Milap Zaveri's upcoming flick 'Jaane Kahan Se Aayee Hai'. This movie role will fulfill the long cherished wish of the actor, who has been trying to get over her good girl traditional image for long now. The film, that is loosely based on blockbuster Hollywood flick 'My super Ex-Girlfriend', will have Amrita Rao play a cameo. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh.
Though the rest of cast is yet to be finalized, Amrita has already given her consent to the alien role. Yes, alien role because Amrita's petite and frail frame has finally got her a role that goes best with her body type - alien. It’s not everyday that B-town actresses appreciate the performances of their contemporaries

But Priyanka Chopra and Amrita Rao seem to be an exception to this rule. The two actresses recently caught up during a special show of Victory which stars Hurman S Baweja opposite Amrita. An insider revealed that Priyanka loved Amrita’s performance in the film and couldn’t wait to tell her that. The source says, “Priyanka liked Amrita’s performance so much that after the screening she went up to her and told her how much she appreciated her work in the film. Amrita was quite touched to hear that from Priyanka and the two ladies were inseparable as they chatted amicably for a long time after that.”

All this even when rumours of Amrita being the new gal in Hurman’s life — which till now revolved around Priyanka — are doing rounds! Must say some actors can look beyond competition. Way to go girls!

Victory to be remade for Hollywood?

The soon to be released Harman Baweja- Amrita Rao starrer Victory, based on a father son relationship and of course cricket has already been making waves in the industry. Adding to this is the latest piece of news that's speeding like wild fire, that Ajitpal Mangat (the director) has been approached to remake the film in English.

"I was approached by Terry Barth who told me that a particular studio based in LA had seen the promos of Victory and now wanted to buy the rights of the film." He explains, "When Terry called me I was swamped with work, so I requested him to mail me the details about this. I was but naturally very interested in this topic. Terry later explained how this had come about."

If this was music to the directors ears, he was certainly flying in the clouds when he heard the last part, "Terry at the end of the mail said, 'the LA studio wants to buy the rights of the script to remake the film in English on a different spot and they are also looking forward to you being the director of it.' This was like the icing on the cake for me, what else could I want, my film hasn't even released yet and I am already getting noticed."

Victory had released its trailers and promos along with the film Ghajini overseas. With such worldwide recognition Ajitpal Mangat must already be feeling 'Victorious'.
